We would like to feature our Charity of the Year, to share the work of people who help those in the City we work in.  On the basis that you all work in Financial Services, you take it for granted that you have the skills to manage your personal finances – simply paying household bills.  But many are never taught this life skill.

You can give money or time to a cause that is at the heart of your sector – financial understanding and capability. I encourage you to make Crosslight your Charity of 2019 too.

Crosslight Advice

Based across London and Kent, Crosslight Advice is a community-focused charity which works to combat poverty and hardship caused by the burden of unmanageable debt and lack of financial capability.

People are our passion. Our aim is to restore dignity and hope to those in need, helping individuals and families lift themselves out of their current difficulties and get
back on their feet.

We do this through open-ended, holistic debt advice coupled with money education and budgeting support to equip our clients for the future.

We take a whole-person approach, working with individuals and supporting them as they seek to address the causes of their financial difficulties as well as the immediate impact.
